Lenovo has recently announced that it will be replacing the name Motorola branding but will retain the "Moto" and the "M" logo. The phones that will be released will have the "Moto by Lenovo".

"We'll slowly phase out Motorola and focus on Moto," Osterloh said in an exclusive interview Thursday at the CES conference in Las Vegas.

Last 2012, Google bought Motorola phone business and sold it after two years of aquisition. It's just a little sad the iconic brand name will be no more of use as Motorola is one of the pioneers in mobile and phones. Lenovo has released a statement regarding Motorola:

"It's our treasure," Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing said after the deal. "We plan to not only protect the Motorola brand, but make it stronger."
