A new leak has started circulating the web suggesting that there may be soon a new way exchange or transfer files, photos, messages, directions and other contents. Introducing "Copresence" (still a code name)!

According to sources, the Copresence will use WiFi/ WiFi direct to facilitate exchange and transfer of files. It will sort of function like Apple's AirDrop local file transfer and Android Beam - NFC-based that's already built in into Android Devices.

A tipster shared this information to Android Police, stating that a code buried in the Google Play Services APK reveals the Copresence feature including images related to it. The images shows happy devices doing file transfers. (Cute, isn't it?). The images also suggested that the upcoming feature will work on both Android and iOS devices.
