So here is a surprising release in the last Google announcement - the Nexus Player, after the pulling out of the black orb Nexus Q, at last the Nexus Player is now released many Android geeks and tech savvy fans will be happy and excited!

It is another alternative for the Chromecast, if you want more apps, games, services and  functions in your TV then this is a perfect player. It syncs well in your Android devices - your mobile phone, tablets etc.

Meet the Nexus Player

The Nexus player itself if sleek and a streamlined console. It is designed to fit beautifully alongside with your home entertainment setup.

The remote with mic for voice search
The remote comes now with voice-activated remote! It is perfect and convenient for finding favorite shows and playing casual games.

At last, an official gamepad for Android!
There is also a Gamepad that is available as an accessory in the Nexus player which is perfect when you wanted to play an Android game to your TV, also it would be much easier to play a game. There would be support on online multiplayer so you can sync games with your friends. Google Games achievement can be synced too.

The player itself has the new built in Android TV Operating System!

There a handful of apps and counting. You can see Netflix, Hulu, TED, Vevo, Pandora, Crackle, Google Music, etc. are already available as video streaming services already available in the device itself

It is an effortless entertainment as there would be personalized recommendations which is like Google Now that picks your favorite contents. It is a cast ready, meaning you can directly cast / mirror your device to the TV. The contents also syncs across your Android devices that would let you start a movie in your TV and then finish it with your tablet on the go or in bed. You can hit the mic button and say the thing you want to search it will automatically translate it into a keyword search (unfortunately it's English only for now, hope Google would make local version of our language so it would be much easier, well I think they'll be planning for the future).
