Gionee announced on its Facebook page that the Gpad G5 is now available in the Philippines. The phablet sports a 5.5-inch display with scratch resistant Dragontrail glass. It features hexa-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD), 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, Dual SIM and 2,400 mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
