Are you and apple fan or an earbuds fan? The stock earbuds that comes with the iDevices is surprisingly not bad at all. It is definitely better sounding than the previous versions of apple earphones. Apple claims it to be better than most $100 earbuds, but it isn't. Fortunately, it still sounded a little better for the price.

4. LG Quadbeat 1 (HSS-F420)

It is LG's 1st attempt to capture the portable hifi market, and they are successful in that sense! The flat cables were not that annoying compared to other flat cables and the sound sounded phenomenal for the price at that time (don't get me wrong it is still phenomenal at this time). It's definitely a good slightly v-shaped iem that provides really clear voice and very detailed! It sounded like a mid range priced iem for free on some LG Phones.

Dubbed as the best kept secret of 2013, MH1C became the talk of the town among audiophiles worldwide. It presents an amazing sound quality for the price point and is even often compared to top-tier in ear monitors. At the moment it is still one of the best sounding in ear monitors especially for fans of hard hitting lows and clear mids! Oh by the way, its silicon tips is one of the most comfortable tips I've ever tried. :)

2. Xiaomi Pistons 2.0

After making noise in the mobile world, the Chinese tech giant, have something else in store for you! It's Xiaomi Pistons 2.0, an elegant looking (beryllium alloy body) in ear monitor that's feels really durable and is super good sounding for the price! Like Sony Mh1c, this made a lot of noise via head-fi and often compared to mid and top tier in ear monitors. That say's a lot about its quality! Just be careful in getting one as there are so many fakes in the market. Sound quality wise this is on the same level of MH1C without the annoying j-cord.

Xiaomi is the cheapest in this list when you try to buy it separately from MI3 at around P 600!

1. LG Quadbeat 2

Top 5 Stock Earphones 2014, the Geeky List!
The best kept secret right now!
The top spot goes to my current favorite in ear monitor with mic, LG Quadbeat 2! I thought LG Quadbeat 1 was already super good enough for a stock earphones, but I was all wrong! Quadbeat 2 rocked my world and raised the bar another notch higher in terms of build, sound, functionality, isolation and comfort. Quadbeat 2 presents the clearest vocals and instrumental details I've heard from any IEM at its price point. This IEM isn't also bass shy, in fact I have to lower it's midbass by 5db to achieve the sound signature I really like. For bass lovers there's no need to equalize it as it is really hard hitting and the quality of bass is amazing and very detailed.

To my ears, this one beats the P 4,600 RHA MA600i by a good margin in sound quality alone and is a better all rounder compared to very detailed but boring P 4,000 Hifiman RE400. This is absolutely the one of the best sounding in ear monitors with microphone under P 5,000 at this moment!

Unfortunately, the very impressive Quadbeat line was discontinued by LG in favor of their Harman Kardon Bluetooth models. So LG G2 owners, this one is an absolute keeper!
