Starmobile has quietly released their latest smartphone called the Jump Neo. I believe that it is the company's first smartphone that has Android 5.0 Lollipop on board. It has a 5 inches IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz MT6582M SoC, Mali 400 GPU, 8 GB expandable to 32 GB internal storage and 2,400 mAh of battery capacity.

Starmobile Jump Neo Revealed! Has Lollipop On Board At Just 4,490 Pesos!

On the camera part, it sports a 5.0 MP AF w/ LED flash rear camera and a 2 MP front facing camera for your basic photography needs. The thing missing on its specs is the RAM, as Starmobile didn't indicated the size of it. Hopefully, it's at 1 GB or more or else this will be a disappointment considering the competition in this price point is very tight nowadays.

The Rio 2 Lite competitor?

At PHP 4,490, I guess the main competitor of this is the Rio 2 Lite as both have Lollipop on board. This device may have an advantage on the screen size as it sports a bigger one at 5 inches compared to the 4.7 inches screen of the Rio 2 Lite. The Jump Neo also has a bigger battery capacity rated at 2,400 mAh. However, the Rio 2 Lite have an advantage to the camera part as it uses an 8 MP Samsung rear camera compared to the 5 MP camera of the Jump Neo. In the end it all boils down on how you plan to use your smartphone.

What do you think of this device? Any RAM guesses?
