The MyPhone Infinity 2 is the much awaited flagship from MyPhone. It's a beautifully crafted powerful smartphone that has an expandable storage which is not present from the previous model. Aside from that MyPhone also added other notable upgrades to the phone that we'll talk about in a bit.

The back
MyPhone clearly improved the the build quality of this handset compared to the old Infinity. Gone is the glass at the back and welcome the all aluminum metal frame which gives you more confidence on its aesthetics.

Overall, the build quality is one of the strongest point of this handset due to that very nice classy look, well machined aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. By the way, this unit feels amazing to hold as it doesn't have sharp edges. It's also the thinnest handset we've seen from a local brand at 5.9 mm. It gives the Infinity 2 that premium feel which makes it a very well designed machine.

Display

Rio 2's AMOLED
That AMOLED display is love! This is by far one of the best screen I've seen from a local brand. Every detail looks great, the color reproduction is outstanding even if the ppi is decreased from 441 to 294. The AMOLED did the trick to make it look better than the old Infinity's display.

Camera

Rear camera sample
The camera quality of Infinity 2 is superb! As per this writing it's one of the cleanest rear camera quality I've seen from a local brand. This handset incorporates a 13 MP f/ 2.2 IMX 214 Sony Sensor w/ Blue Glass Filter that has that natural looking feel. The shutter speed is also extremely fast and it has a manual mode (ala lumia) for the photography guys out there.

Most of us here also like what we first saw with the front camera of the Infinity 2. It's decently clear, has fast shutter, the color balance is also nice and most importantly the front camera has a flash modile for taking photos in the dark. By the way this also has an 87 degrees wide angle feature that's perfect for group shots!

Antutu Benchmark

Almost 40K!
Given that benchmark, this is a very powerful phone. Given that it uses 1.5 GHz 64 bit MT6752 octa core processor, Mali-T760 MP2 and 2 GB of RAM it can run all known applications which includes heavy gaming.

As of the moment...

I loved almost everything that I saw with the Infinity 2! It's the best built 5 inch handset from a local brand for me. Almost everything is has been upgraded from the camera, screen, processor and battery life. The build quality is also top notch, feels great to hold, very thin and light. It's also designed the way a flagship smartphone should feel and look like. However, compared to the specs of some international bang per buck handsets, the Infinity 2 i priced a bit high.
