Last week, we announced that Vivo is set to launch the Vivo X5 Max in December. Soon to be the "World's Thinnest Smartphone", it is also expected to be one of the RARE HIFI smartphones released. This is a good news to the consumers especially to the audiophiles. Even without an amplifier, any standard earphones (or headphones) will fit with this phone as the 4.7mm handset will have a 3.5 mm audio jack.

With the release of the ridiculously thin handsets, manufacturers seems to omit some important features. For an instance, the Oppo R5, the current world's thinnest smartphone at 4.85mm, doesn't have a 3.5mm jack. Fortunately, the Vivo X5 Max, which is a hairline thinner than the Oppo R5, found a way to still include the 3.5mm jack despite its ultra-thin body.

Just a quick recap, the Vivo X5 Max sports a 5.5-inch display and measures 4.75mm thin. It is powered by 1.7 GHz octa-core processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. Other features include 2 GB of RAM, 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
