Jaybird Bluebuds X is one of the most low profile looking and compact Bluetooth in ear monitors around. Just a little info, almost 2 years ago almost all the Bluetooth earbuds and in ear monitors I've tried wasn't able to satisfy me until I got a chance to hear and review this. Now after using it for over two weeks I'm happy to share with you my very good findings with the Bluebuds X.

Comfort / Isolation
|It worked very well for me during workouts and just walking around wearing it outdoors|
The comfort and isolation of this one feels great. I've had the best comfort when wearing it with the smallest eartips as it fits the best for me. While the secure fit ear cushions works very well when worn straight down, I'm not using it as I've had more comfort without it and wearing the Bluebuds X overear already feels very secure. When it comes to the isolation part, I suggest not to wear this while crossing / running on the streets as it provides enough isolation to block most of the outside noise.
The battery performance of the Bluebuds X did very well! I was able to use it for more than 5 4 days without charging. When it comes to full testing, I was able to squeeze out a little more than 7 hours and 30 mins of non stop audio goodness in it. So if you're the type of person who just works out for an hour or two, you will just need to charge the Bluebuds X for once or twice a week!
The red and green lights indicated that the Bluebuds X is now ready for pairing
I can move around the room of about 80 sqm without the Bluetooth getting disconnected and that's pretty impressive! However there are times when I'm locking and opening my handset that the sound stops and the connection gets interrupted by a little. Fortunately, that's only the issue I've had with it. You can enjoy music with your Bluebuds X for hours with almost no interruption.
|It's a surprisingly good sounding set!|
Now this is near HiFI without wires! It has V shaped sound signature that's focusing on the bass and treble part of the spectrum. It's one of the rare Bluetooth headphones I've heard that can produce sub bass correctly with proper decay. It can produce very sweet rumbles on Hiphop and RnB tracks. There could be a little muddiness in the mids, but it's very much tolerable as you can still clearly hear the voices to my surprise! Then fans of treble will surely love this, it has that sparkle that could satisfy your cravings. However it may be piercing and fatiguing for some.
For workouts, I cannot ask for more as Jaybird properly tuned this set for that purpose. So far I'm liking this better than the Mee M6, Soundmagic EH11 and probably any other in ear monitors for workouts. Plus this definitely performs better than most celebrity wired and Bluetooth headphones in the country today.
The microphone quality of the Bluebuds X won't disappoint, it can clearly capture my voice even when I'm wearing it overear and the microphone is at the back of my head. For the best results I suggest to wear it straight down. It's not the best out there, but its clearly an upgrade over your stock earbuds with mic and other proprietary earphones for calls.
Pro's - Low profile design, lightweight, comfortable to wear, surprising balanced and great sound for a Bluetooth IEM, outstanding battery life, Sweat proof design
Con's - Bluetooth disconnects briefly sometimes when I'm locking the phone, might be prone scratches, buttons may be hard to press when worn over ear
After more than 2 weeks of playing around with the Jaybird Bluebuds X, I can say that this is really one of the best sounding Bluetooth in ear monitors around today. It has been my on the go buddy for commutes and workouts. It is very easy to use, very comfortable and has great functionality without compromising much of the sound.
