While Google has already started rolling out the Android 5.0 update to Android devices, two Android developers have leaked the upcoming Android 5.1 during the Devox Conference held in Antwerpen, Belgium.

Android 5.1 Leaked by Android Developers During Devoxx Conference

The two developers were  Romain Guy, an Android Software Engineer and Chet Haase, Google's Senior software engineer. During their presentation, they were using a Nexus 5 that runs Android Lollipop MR1, which stands for maintenance release 1.

Although it has not been confirmed whether Android 5.0 MR1 will become Android 5.1, it's safe to assume that it will possibly be. If we will based on Google's history with their previous "Maintenance Releases", Android 2.0 MR! became Android 2.1, Android 3.0 MR1 became Android 3.1, Android 4.0 MR1 Jelly Brean became Android 4.1 and the Android 4.3 MR1 became Android 4.3 KitKat.

Well, the screenshot above did not reveal much information. We're not quite sure yet whethere the 5.1 version will remain as "Lollipop". Let's wait for further announcements.
