How long has it been since the last Mortal Kombat game? Mortal Kombat(2011) was the reboot of the Mortal Kombat games and the ninth installment of the series. Now there will be a new fighting game which will come to the next generation consoles.The title for the new game is Mortal Kombat X and is scheduled to be released in 2015.
