iuni has announced recently they'll enter the global market (Southeast-Asia, Middle East & Europe to be key markets) on their Weibo social networking site in China. You can see screenshot of their post below:

The iuni mobile phone brand belongs to Unocal Shenzhen City Councilor Technology Co., Ltd. which was established in October 2013. As a wholly owned subsidiary and a new online brand of Gionee. iuni aims to the young population, specializes in the most pure system of  iuni os. iuni brand name comes from the “I am unique” concept which was popularized by millions of young people. The brand name of iuni itself originates from the “I am unique” concept, that is our attitude to life.

The IUNI N1 sports a 5-inch Super AMOLED 2.5D screen, Octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera and a 2400mAh battery. Some of the specs are not revealed yet. For a preview, see the below images for their promotional materials:
