Xiaomi Redmi 1S is one of the company's best sellers that redefined the meaning of a budget smartphone. Suddenly the updated version of the said smartphone might be on its way soon as the Redmi 2S specifications appeared on Antutu and TENAA.

Redmi 2S is powered by a 64 bit Snapdragon 410 processor?

Redmi 2S is said to be powered by the new Snapdragon 410 processor which is a definite upgrade over the old Snapdragon 400. The unit still retains the 4.7 inches 720p display, but this time the body is more compact at 132 x 67.2 x 92 and will be lighter at 134g only. The phone is still equipped with 1GB of RAM, 8 MP of rear camera with flash, 2 MP of front facing camera and a battery upgrade of 2,200 mAh capacity. 

Redmi 2S will also be powered with the newer MIUI software based on Android 4.4 Kitkat and will now have an LTE feature. There are also rumors that aside from Redmi 2S, Xiaomi is also working on the update of the Redmi Note that will feature the more powerful Snapdragon 615 processor.
