Last month, we told you about the Vivo X5 Max, the handset who is set to steal the "World's Thinnest Smartphone" crown from Oppo R5. We also announced that its going to be unveiled this December. Now, the company has already confirmed the exact official date of its launch and it will be on December 10th.

When we compare it to the Oppo R5, currently the world's thinnest smartphone at 4.85m, the Vivo X5 Max only measure 4.75mm thin. It is also rumored to feature a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, 1.7 GHz octa-core processor, LTE, 2 GB of RAM, 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

It's also one of the RARE HIFI smartphones!

The Vivo X5 Max is also boasting a high fidelity playback on its audio output. So I'm speculating here that this smartphone would be capable of playing lossless tracks 192KHz / 24 bit playback. If that is true, there will be no need for those audiophiles to on the go to get a dedicated hifi player. Vivo also reportedly found a way to include the standard 3.5mm audio jack despite its ultra-thin body.
