Hi guys, I'm back and now here to unbox and review Ekophone's flagship quadcore smartphone named Ekophone 5.10. This one is a more elegant looking, faster, better, and literally bigger big brother of Ekophone 4.20 that we previously reviewed.

Very very gwapo dude! Amazing Job Ekotek!

Okay wala ng paligoy-ligoy pa, lets all check out the Ekophone's flagship smartphone.

Packaging

Man! If I thought Ekophone 4.20's packaging is brilliant and feels very premium, but I was wrong. Ekophone 5.10 took into another level! At first, you'll see a visibly larger box due to a larger device at 5 inches. (Ekophone keeps on impressing me with their package)

Definitely better than most packaging I've seen

As always, Ekophone delivers one of the most complete packaging I've seen. Just like Ekophone 4.20, you'll see the very premium looking Ekophone 5.10 in an elegant all white color with its included accessories.

It contains all the accessories (Charger, Black Earbuds, Battery, a better type Flip Cover Case, Screen Protector, User Guide and Warranty Card) included in Ekophone 4.20, except Ekophone 5.10 took it into the next level. It all feels a lot more premium and built better than their mid-range device.

One thing I've noticed is that it only carries, Android 4.2.1 compared to Android 4.2.2 by Ekophone 4.20. Not a big deal though. :) Fortunately, this time the battery is larger compared to Ekophone 4.20, but we'll see in the coming days how will it perform given that quad core devices consume more power than dual core phones.

Initial Impressions

Just like its baby brother 4.20, Ekophone 5.10 is a very impressive device. It maintained that "Parang Samsung" feel on a larger screen, a faster processor, a bigger RAM and a more impressive camera. I've just noticed that there are some noticeable changes with its User Interface like there is no more one click clean, but they added more features into it.

Meet the reigning king of Ekotek - the Ekophone 5.10!

On my initial impressions it was a very decent device with good camera optics, though the specs was a little lower compared to other local quad core phones. Its build quality makes up for it 3 times more. From what I've seen so far, this was a very well priced device!

We'll further test this device in the coming days, so watch out for our full review! :)

We would like to thank Ekotek Philippines for sending us this unit for us to review and test!
