Ever wanted a portable wireless Bluetooth keyboard for your iPad, Android tablet and or convertible laptops/tablets? Are you always on the road travelling and wish it is easy to type but its not always the case in using touchscreen. Well, we will introduce the Targus Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard that may suit your needs.

The Targus Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard for Tablets features an integrated ergonomic tilt to provide added comfort and avoid strain while typing. The keys provide tactile feedback to the user to help improve typing accuracy and speed. The Bluetooth wireless technology provides a clean, cable free workspace and quickly syncs to your tablet for immediate use. The keyboard features up to 7 months of battery life and includes a low power indicator light to let the user know when the battery is running low. Designed in black to match the front of most tablets, this keyboard is comfortable yet compact; sized for convenient travel. The keyboard supports tablets running iOS, Windows and Android operating systems.

What's inside the box?

It package contains the following: Bluetooth wireless keyboard, (2) Energizer MAX Alkaline batteries and a user guide / manual.

Keyboard Build
The keyboard is very lightweight, easy to carry anywhere and is very portable which you can place inside your bag along with your tablet. It is slim and sleek, has a smooth texture. Overall a pretty simple and cool keyboard at the same time.

Setting up the keyboard: Easy
First you have to turn on the switch at the back of the keyboard. Then setup your device to connect to the Bluetooth Keyboard that it will find when it searches for the device like the one below. In my case I have a Windows 8 tablet and works pretty well with it.

After clicking the Bluetooth Keyboard device that you find, the tablet will prompt you to type pass code shown in the screen to the keyboard itself (like the one below), then press Enter and viola it's now working in your device! :)

Well typing is like using a conventional keyboard but it does not create much noise and it has soft keys when you start to press. It is fit with the use of the two hands, also the imprinted letters are quite big. All the keys are functioning well in Windows 8 tablet.

One of the good things that you can do with is that when watching videos away from your device it may act as a remote controller (with the use of some apps, I used VLC player here which responded with keyboard strokes). This can be used for laptops / tablets that are connected via projector or even screen mirroring when controlling their PowerPoint presentations.
