Here is a very exciting news from Sony, the company have announced that the PlayStation Now will be available to the Windows PC soon.

PlayStation Now will let you play PS games to your Windows PC

This means that the wide selection of PlayStation exclusive game titles will be playble in the Windows PC for the first time including the Uncharted, God of War, and Ratchet & Clank franchises, as well as beloved PS3 games like The Last of Us and Journey. Subscribers can access over 400 games of PS Now's library.

Here are the minimum recommended specs for running PS Now to your PC:
  • Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
  • 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
  • 300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM
  • Sound card; USB port
  • 5Mbps connection (minimum)

A minimum of 5Mpbs of internet connection is required to play PS Now on any device and Sony recommends a wired internet for optimal experience.

There is also a new device that us introduced which is the DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor that will let you connect the controller to the PC or Mac wirelessly. It will enable features in the controller such as: buttons, analog sticks, touch pad, light bar, motion sensors, vibration and stereo headset jack. This gaming adaptor is not required in playing as you can also use the DualShock 4 using USB cable. The DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor has a suggested retail price of USD24.99 (around Php1.15k)

There is no announced launch date yet for the Windows PC app but it will be first available in certain parts of Europe, North America and soon on other countries, hopefully soon here in the Philippines.
