Build & Design
The Transcend MTS800 is a pretty simple SSD that you can attached directly into your PC. The SSD itself is naked that looks like a RAM card, it has no heatsink or any covering. The MTS800 is pretty small, it's only a bit bigger on a regular USB flash drive.

Tests & Performance
The test is done by attaching the MTS800 to a PC's motherboard unit. The Transcend MTS800 has a usable 467GB storage, the other 45GB is for its own system reserve to function well.
CrystalDisk Info
In this part, we have tested the unit using the Crystal Disk Mark which a benchmarking software to measure the performance of the SSD storage device, it is also used as a standard in tests. The testing size is set to 1,000MB or 1GB and the Read 7 Write data were placed in the below chart:

As for the READ  the Sequential got a 526GB/s and 4KQD33 got a 286MB/s transfer speed. As for the WRITE the Sequential got a 459GB/s and 4KQD33 got a 310MB/s transfer speed.

The Transcend MT800 M.2 SSD is offering a great speed and performance for your budget although in our tests it is a bit lower in the rated speed performance of 550MB/s READ and 460MB/s WRITE. But so far this is a fast transfer rate SSD in compare with other products in the market.
