The popularity of the Game of Thrones TV series is incredible. It is viewed in over 170 countries, and is the most downloaded show ever. Naturally, there would be some spin-offs to the series in order to milk the cash cow as much as possible, and it has resulted in the emergence of a couple of highly enjoyable games.

Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series
Telltale Games are famous for their intricate, plot-driven games that immerse the player in the world of the game. They have done other spin-off games for TV shows and comic books including The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, but the Game of Thrones RPG could be their most detailed and engaging offering to date.

In the game, players take control of five members of House Forrester, one of the lesser known houses that is only mentioned briefly in the books and never appears in the show. This has given the creators a lot of freedom to take their own direction with the story and character development. The developers have been able to intertwine their own stories into the world from the TV show, and have the separate plots run alongside one another. The game is based on the members of House Forrester trying to help their lowly house survive during the War of the Five Kings, and players must make decisions that will shape the storyline and the future of the characters they are controlling.

With cameos from some of the actors who play the main characters in the show, such as Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, and Kit Harrington as Jon Snow, the game is authentic and ideal for fans of the show who just can’t get enough of Westeros.

Game of Thrones Online Slot
The game of thrones slot machine is a new gambling portal by Microgaming Quickfire that tries to capture the epic nature of Game of Thrones while also providing an exciting gaming experience. Many online casino games now follow themes from TV shows or films, and this slot machine is one of the top games for emulating the true essence of the show on which it is based.

The classic title music plays throughout the game as players spin the reels to try to reveal the best combinations of symbols. These can give cash prizes and activate bonus games where players have the opportunity to win more money, but it can also be played for free if players just want to enjoy the rush.

The symbols on the reels include the sigils of Houses Lannister, Baratheon, Stark, and Targaryen, and spinning matches of these sigils into view will result in differing cash prize and multiplier combinations. One of the bonus features of the game allows players to travel to key locations on a map of Westeros, on the flip of a Braavosi coin. Flip the wrong side, though, and the adventure ends.

Both of these games manage to encompass some of the key aspects of Game of Thrones which are detail and awesomeness.
