Gionee just released two smartphones, the first one is the spectacular flagship E8 and the other one is the power backed Marathon M5 with over 6000 mAh of battery capacity.

The Gionee E8 is a monster phone with a screen size of 6 Inches that has QHD resolution and Super AMOLED display. It's powered by the new 2.0 gHz Helo X10 octa core processor, paired with 3 GB of RAM, that huge 64 GB internal storage, 23.7 rear camera that can render up to 120 MP via software with 3x lossless zoom and can shoot 4K videos, 8 MP front facing camera and 3,520 mAh battery capacity. It also has LTE connectivity, fingerprint scanner, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop w/ Amigo OS and that interesting dual HiFi speakers.

The Marathon M5 is a midranger that seems to be the dream phone of those who don't like to charge their devices. It has a screen of 5.5 Inches HD AMOLED display at 267 ppi, 1.5 GHz 64 bit MT6735, Mali-T720 GPU, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB expandable internal storage, dual LTE, dual SIM, 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera and Android 5.0 Lollipop. What's special with this handset is the battery capacity, it's a whooping 6020 mAh w/ quick charge support and interestingly the device just has the thickness of 8.5 mm and weighs 213 g!

The Gionee E8 will out in China next month and will retail at around 29,000 pesos when you converted to the Philippine currency. The M5 will be cheaper at under PHP 17,000 pesos.
