In a recent post by geekschicksten, they grey areas of the new MyPhone Infinity 2 Lite that we posted earlier was unveiled. Apparently, it has 2 versions the 8 GB model with 1 GB RAM at PHP 7,399 and the 16 GB ROM with 2 GB RAM at a very low price of PHP 8,399!

Both the new Infinity 2 Lite now also has a bigger 5 inches screen compared to 4.7 inch of the old version and now has Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, it is powered by 1.4 GHz of octa core processor, 1 GB / 2 GB of RAM, 8 / 16 GB of expandable internal storage, 13 MP rear camera w/ LED Flash, 5 MP selfie camera and 2,800 mAh of non removable battery.

Unexpectedly, the above-mentioned site listed the OS of this handset with just Android 4.4 Kitkat on board instead of Android 5.0 Lollipop just like what they did with the Rio 2 and Rio 2 Lite. I'm really expecting this to have that OS here, if it's still at Kitkat I hope that there will be an update soon.

Update: I just had a brief chat with MyPhone and they'll confirm the OS tom, but most likely it's on Android 5.0 Lollipop

Nonetheless, both versions of the new Infinity 2 Lite more appealing compared when the original Infinity Lite was launched last year at 7,999 pesos. Hopefully, we'll get a demo unit soon to do a full review of this handset that we can share with you guys! :)
