133 g? That's the clue that the Facebook Page of Xiaomi Philippines posted in a form of video with an easter looking egg in a weighing scale last April 13, 2015. When we search the internet on what Mi product weighs at 133 g, the search engines lead us to the new Redmi 2!

In case you missed it, Redmi 2 is the thinner, lighter, faster and LTE capable upgrade of the ageing Redmi 1s which was a huge hit last year. It still has the same 4.7 inches display and has rounded corners with a textured back that makes it great to hold. It also now powered by the newer Snapdragon 410 processor and has 2 versions, the 1 GB RAM version and the 2 GB RAM version.
Hopefully, we'll see both variants here. However, that might not be the case as it was previously announced that the 2 GB version is for the Chinese market only.
