We fell in love with the view! <3

Ahoy there Geeks! Here is a new place that you will surely love. Aside from the shining lights and serene environment, there are plenty of restaurants and sightseings in the area. With more that 200,000 blinking bright lights with a sound combo show this will be an interesting place to see and visit in the south of Luzon. The place is called the River Park which is located at Festival Supermall, Filinvest City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. It is 2,300-square meter River Park which is mala-Ayala like place but with a river and located in the south.

The other side of the lights attraction

The launch started from the performance of the all boys singing group named Kundirana which were very talented high school students from La Salle Greenhills. After the event, well before writing this up, I did a little research about the group and found out they were quite popular specially because also of the former idolized singers that came from the group, examples were: Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcasid, Randy Santiago, Rannie Raymundo, Dingdong Avanzado, etc.

Next performers were the Ballet Philippines group which was indeed a great performance from them (this was my first time watching a ballet show though hehe). They perform a Cinderella ballet story here, they were graceful and seems enjoying the performance they are doing. Bravo to the performance indeed. See the photos below:

The next performer or should I say next singer performer was Rachel Alejandro and was very alive and entertaining that evening. She sang a couple of songs and the crowd requested for her song "Mr. Cupido" and thus event the audience sing with her with matching gestures especially for older persons.
Rachel Alejandro very alive and kickin' on entertaining the crowd during the launch
Attractions

When it comes to attractions and amenities the Festival Supermall is great, well aside from the mall itself, one of the attractions they developed is the River Park area. There are dancing lights and sound shows during the evening, also time to time performances at the heart of the River Park like the one below:

The lights show reminded me of the Ayala Triangle Lights and Sound Show, so if you are quite bored and wanted to try something new, go here and you can walk in the River Park or shop at Festival Supermall.

The soon to open amphitheater beside the river for public
Another picture of the amphitheater which looks cool
There are a lot of new restaurant around the said River Park which includes the Asahikawa Ramen Bangaichi, Chef's Barrel, Mati's Meat & Bread, etc. It is a great place for families and for dating someone or even with friends just exploring and enjoying the view. Watch the Dancing Lights and Sound video below:

There fireworks after the performances, even it's raining a little people didn't mind of it
Wow!

The River Park is just a first phase of Festival Supermall's massive expansion which is expected to be finished this 2015 and more surprises would be announced soon! So what are you waiting for? Visit the River Park at Festival Supermall at Alabang!
