At last Shure now enters the budget headphone competition with 2 new on ear models, the SHR144 and SRH145. This could be the company's answer to the growing number of budget headphones in the market right now. This is set to compete with the likes of sennheiser, superlux, brainwavz, philips and monoprice. The new headphones from Shure could also be the answer to high quality audio performance from a trusted audio brand without emptying your wallet.

SHR144 and SRH145+
They look great too!

The new headphones from Shure also looks great and fashionable. Based on the photo they seem to be as comfortable at the Philips set I see regularly in music stores. The body have a metallic finish which is great! (not really sure if it is metal) The 2 new models have nearly have the same specifications and there is also a + model of SRH145 that have a microphone. I guess there will only be a little difference with the sound signature of the 2 new models. They have a non detachable 5 feet long cables, a heavy duty 3.5mm plug and an impedance rating of 34 ohms. They seem to be a very good portable headphone because the size isn't that big and the look of a good fold-able headband.
