Few months ago, Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+, a variant of the Galaxy S5 that sports the faster Snapgdragon 805 processor, in Singapore. Now, it seems like the company is planning to launch it in more countries as it posted the Galaxy S5 4G+ on the product page of its website (at least in Netherlands) under the name of Galaxy S5 Plus.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus Appears on The Company's Website

Specs wise, the Galaxy S5 Plus is almost identical to the original Galaxy S5 except for the processor. If that's the case, we're looking at the same old 5.1 Full HD Super AMOLED display, 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD), 16 MP rear camera, fingerprint and heart rate sensors, dust and water resistant shell and 2800 mAh battery. Since it features Snapdragon 805 processor, the handset should also support LTE speeds of up to 225 Mbps. The handset is available in blue, white, black and gold colors.

If we're looking at the company's annual upgrade cycle, it is expected to launch the Galaxy S6 around February 2015. With the little time left, do you think it's a great idea to roll out new S5 variants this year? What are your thoughts? Comment below.
