Sony announced today that the PlayStation TV set-top box, also known as PS Vita TV, will debut on United States (U.S.) on October 14, 2014. The stand-alone hardware costs $99.99 but Sony offers a special bundle that includes the Dual Shock 3 controller, 8 GB memory card and The Lego Movie Video game. The bundle costs $140.

The PS TV allows users to play PlayStation Vita games, digital PlayStation One and PSP games. Users can also stream PlayStation 3 and PlayStation for via PlayStation Now and Remote Play (a feature that enables user to stream games from one PS4 console in your home onto a separate TV where PS TV is connected), respectively.
